Faith in Action

Core Beliefs

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture is the foundation for doctrine, faith, morals, and Christian living.

The Oneness of God

There is one God who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption through Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit in regeneration and power. Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

Salvation

Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ expressed in:

  • Repentance from sin

  • Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins by full immersion as described in the bible. (“born of water”)

  • Receiving the Holy Spirit (“born of the Spirit”)

Salvation results in a transformed and holy life.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is an empowering experience for believers, often evidenced initially by speaking in tongues. Spiritual gifts such as prophecy, discernment, healing, and miracles remain active in the church today.

Divine Healing

God still heals physically, emotionally, and spiritually through prayer, faith, and His power.

Eschatology

Jesus Christ will return again. There will be a final judgment, resurrection of the dead, and the establishment of God’s eternal kingdom.
